A brief documentation of important events of my sister in law from Barhmin's village

There wouldn't be a single married woman

Who would not have envied the grace of my sister in law from the village of Brahmins

I accept she was uneducated

She received frugal things occasionally

She could never possess a significant place in her household

I also accept that despite endless prayers

She could never bear a second son

But certainly

While sifting through her wholesome life of 37 years

She baked 38289 breads

Cooked rice 2173 times

Cleaned vessels 13000 times

307 times daubed the courtyard

Wore 47 sarees and 92 pieces of bouses

Slept starving for 275 nights

She enjoyed copulation 3 times

And was raped 949 times

Gave birth to 4 girls and 5 times

Suffered abortion

But here is the most poignant thing

The very next morning of Barsait

When her forehead was glowing with vermilion

And her hands were full of bangels

In front of her husband

She passed away without having a morsel.
